Military Fitness Test and Pay Calculators

Every calculator and chart here is built from a published DoD document, checked line by line, and tested before it goes live. Pick a tool below, or see what changed for each service in 2026.

What changed in military fitness testing in 2026

Every service changed its fitness rules for 2026. The Army now scores combat specialties on one sex-neutral table with a 350-point minimum, the Marine Corps scores combat arms PMOSs on the male tables with a 210-point minimum, the Navy moved to two test cycles a year, and the Air Force launched a new 100-point assessment.

Pay tables for 2026 and the 2027 raise

The 2026 basic pay tables took effect on 1 January 2026. For 2027, the President's alternative pay plan sets a 7-6-5% raise from 1 January unless Congress enacts a different rate, while the Senate committee bill carries 3.6%. Both are shown side by side, labeled with their status.

The pay calculator covers basic pay and drill pay only. Housing, subsistence, and special pays are not included.

How the numbers are checked

Each table is copied from its source document into a data file that records the document name, link, effective date, and the date it was last checked. Calculators are tested against values read straight from the official tables, and the site will not build if any result disagrees.

The full method is on the editorial policy page, and every document is listed on the sources page.
